Temperatures in Longmont are expected to reach 82 degrees today under increasingly cloudy skies that could result in late-afternoon showers and thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service.
Forecasters are calling for a 20 percent chance of precipitation between 2 and 10 p.m. today. Tonight's low should reach 52.
Thursday and Friday will be even warmer, with temperatures expected to peak at 88 both days under sunny skies.
For the weekend, Saturday should be sunny with a high of 82 and Sunday mostly sunny with temperatures topping out at 85. There's a slight chance of evening storms on Sunday.
