Bhopal: Ramzan is keeping the Muslims in the city busy round the clock. The followers revel in the hardships of fast and make it a point to offer namaaz without fail, some even offer non obligatory namaaz including Tarawih and Tahajjud with high discipline as the holy month promises extra blessings for every good deed of the faithful.
Free Press spoke to some Muslim families who have been diligently observing fasts during Ramzaan for past many years to get a glimpse of their daily routine. Does it change their life? The reply was yes. They said, “We don’t get full sleep. We sometimes remain awake, because we have to perform Namaz. Believe it or not, we don’t feel tired.”
They get together for the Iftar at dusk when they thank almighty for holding on to their faiths. For them, “Ramzan holds a lot of value in terms of bonding with family, friend and community at the same time it help us all to realign ourselves in the Ibaadat of Allah & it is also like a care and share. We care for our discipline of prayers, our body, mind and soul. At the same time we share a portion from the wealth that Allah has provided us towards charity in the form of fitra and zakaat.
