Historic Zoar Village, 198 Main St., currently is taking reservations for its bi-annual Beyond the Fences of Zoar garden tour, lunch and symposium scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 16.
The event will include tours of seven private and two public gardens of Zoar. Mini garden symposiums presented by master gardeners and horticulturalists will be held throughout the village with experts discussing topiaries, herbs and several trends in backyard gardening. The village’s historical buildings will be open for tours throughout the day.
Space for the lunch at noon is limited, and reservations are required. All event proceeds will be used in the preservation of the village’s garden, buildings and heritage.
Tickets cost $35 including lunch or $15 without lunch. Lunch tickets must be paid for in advance. For reservations: 330-874-3011.
