Karan Johar calls Rajkumar Hirani genius after watching Sanju trailer

The much awaited trailer of the Sanjay Dutt biopic, Sanju, is here and it offers an intriguing mix of emotions, comedy, drama and most importantly shock.

The gripping trailer gives an insight into the life of Sanjay Dutt aka Sanju baba - be it his girlfriends, his drug addiction, his career, his conviction, downfall, his sentence, his acquittal, and then his uprising once again.

Ranbir looks amazingly convincing in the role of Dutt. The younger actor took to the latter’s persona like a charm.

The trailer also touched upon his equation with various members of his life, portrayed by Paresh Rawal, Sonam Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Manisha Koirala, and Anushka Sharma.

It’s no wonder that many Bollywood celebrities have liked the trailer. While filmmaker Karan Johar called the film’s director, Rajkumar Hirani, a genius, Sonam Kapoor said it will leave the audiences speechless.
