Nashik (
TAAN) has demanded that the private airline
Jet Airways carrying out aggressive branding of
Delhi-Nashik flights to make city fliers aware of the starting of this new flight.
Jet Airways will kick off its Delhi-Nashik return flight from June 15 thrice a week.
TAAN members insisted that branding of its proposed flight is imperative to make the city and its adjoining areas aware of the new flight.
“The private airline must also put up banners and boards at the offices of at least 25 travel agents of the city as part of branding,” said said Datta Bhalerao, president, TAAN.
According to him Jet Airways can provide the branding materials like banner and boards to the agents to be put up in their offices.
“Moreover, airline operator also needs to put up at least four-five hoardings in the city about the proposed Delhi-Nashik return flights,” he added.
Meanwhile a team of Jet Airways will meet the city industrialists and travel agents of the city on Thursday.
The meeting is slated to take place at the office of Nashik Industries & Manufacturers’ Association (NIMA).
Jet Airways will operate a 168-seater aircraft
Boeing 737-800 for the services from Nashik airport.
The flight will take off from Delhi airport at 12.00 noon and will land at Nashik airport at 2.05 p.m. From Nashik, the flight will take off at 2.35 and will reach Delhi airport at 4.25 pm
