Maharashtra Class 12 HSC result 2018 declared, Konkan division tops with 94.85%; how to check


The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has declared the Class 12 Higher Secondary Certification Examination (HSC) results today. Students can now access the results on the board’s official website mahresult.nic.in and results.maharashtraeducation.com. Students can also check the results on examresults.net.

According to reports, the overall pass percentage for Maharashtra HSC result is at 88.41. Konkan division has the highest pass percentage of 94.85 amongst nine divisions Nashik division has the worst pass percentage. There has been a dip in this year’s pass percentage. HSC result this time is 1.09 percent lesser compared to the last year.

The Maharashtra Board HSC examination was held from 21 February to 20 March. Around 14,85,132 had registered for the Class 12 or HSC exams. 5,80,820 students have registered for Science stream, 3,66,756 students had registered for Commerce stream, 4,79,863 candidates for Arts stream and 57,693 candidates in vocational papers.


According to reports, this year a total of 14,85,132 students appeared for the exams of which 12,52,817 students passed the exams. Once again girls outshined boys, 92.36 per cent girls who appeared for exams passed compared to 85.23 per cent boys. A total of 5486 candidates score above 90 per cent in Maharashtra. Science faculty recorded 95.85 pass percentage, commerce 89.50 pass percentage and MCVC stream recorded 82.18 pass percentage.

The Board is yet to announce a date for its SSC Class 10 results 2018.

Steps to check Maharashtra HSC Result 2018:

Step 1 : Go to the official website for results: mahresult.nic.in

Step 2 : Click on the link for Higher Secondary Certificate Examination Result 2018 link.

Step 3 : Enter your exam roll number and other required detail.

Step 4 : Click on submit and view your result.

Step 5: Download your Maharashtra HSC 12th Result 2018, Maharashtra Class 12th Result 2018 and take a printout for future reference.

How to check through SMS:

Students can also check the results via SMS. For this they need to type – MHHSC<space>SEAT NO and send it to 57766 or 58888111.
