Accel at Longmont, a new senior living facility at 1960 S. Fordham St., will hold an open house from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The 76-bed operation managed by StoneGate Senior Living will be a "skilled transitional care and rehabilitation facility with a focus on lifetime wellness," according to a company news release.

Accel at Longmont "will employ approximately 125 to 150 people and serve as both an inpatient transitional care center and outpatient center," the release said. "The new facility provides transitional post-acute care services, including physical, occupational and speech rehabilitation services. The skilled nursing facility will also provide respite care."

"StoneGate is thrilled to bring a state-of-the-art post-acute facility offering inpatient skilled nursing and inpatient rehabilitation services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapies to Longmont," Angela Norris, StoneGate senior vice president of business development of business development, said in a statement. "We look forward to providing quality short-term, inpatient rehabilitation and respite services to adults for years to come."
