Juggling both sports and studies, these students ace exam

All work and no play is not their motto, but they still managed to ace the exams, juggling between sports and studies.

Aditya Bopanna, a national-level swimmer from Delhi Public School, Bangalore South, scored 80.6% in class 10 CBSE. “I’m filled with so much joy. Getting this percentage after swimming and studying together is actually pretty good for me. I used to squeeze in the free time I got for studies. I tried studying almost every day after my swimming classes. During exams, I got ample time to study because of study vacation but during school days I got around one or two hours. Swimming has taken most of my life and has become a part of me now.”

Another national-level swimmer from the same school, Ananya Dheep scored 74.2%. “I didn’t attend school much this year. I’m a national-level athlete as well. During exams, my day would start at four in the morning and I would then study for half an hour. I had practice for 3 hours in the morning followed by two more sessions of practice through the day. At the end of the day, I would get about 4 hours to study, I was able to manage between sports and studies as my parents supported me.”
