Jurgen Klopp has reportedly worried Lionel Messi by eyeing a transfer deal for Barcelona’s Jasper Cillessen, according to reports.
Liverpool could sign Barcelona star Cillessen following Loris Karius’ Champions League final nightmare.
The German made two costly errors as the Reds lost 3-1 to Real Madrid in Kiev.
Reports in Spain have claimed Liverpool have now turned their attentions to Cillessen, who has endured two mixed years at Barcelona.
The Holland international, previously on the radar of Manchester United, has struggled for game time with Marc-Andre Ter Stegen their established No 1.
And Spanish outlet Don Balon say Klopp’s plans to sign the shot-stopper have Messi worried.

Antoine Griezmann snub
Manchester United could sign Antoine Griezmann after the forward rejected Barcelona, according to reports.
Barcelona have appeared frontrunners in the race for his signature.
The Catalan giants are ready to offload Ousmane Dembele, who has toiled ever since his arrival last summer.
However, Spanish outlet Don Balon say Griezmann has snubbed a move to Barcelona, and the France international is now supposedly ready to consider a stunning move to Manchester United instead.
The Red Devils were hellbent on securing the player’s signature 12 months ago.
But, when Atletico were slapped with a transfer ban and Griezmann chose to stay, they ended up landing Romelu Lukaku instead.
However, with Manchester City and Chelsea taking the major trophies last term, Jose Mourinho knows more is required, and Don Balon say Griezmann is now ready to join United - or City.

Jasper Cillessen swoop
Jasper Cillessen has told Barcelona that he wants to join Liverpool, reports claim.
Cillessen has been linked with Liverpool, who are likely to invest in a new goalkeeper capable of shining on the world’s biggest stage.
Cillessen would fit the bill having spent the last two years at Barcelona playing the role of deputy to Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.
And Spanish outlet Diario Gol say the Holland international is eager to join Liverpool this summer.
They claim Cillessen is desperate to sign for Jurgen Klopp, but understands that manager Ernesto Valverde wants to keep him on the books if Ter Stegen gets injured.
Jordi Alba battle
Manchester United and Chelsea are both prepared to capitalise on Jordi Alba’s contract situation at Barcelona, according to reports.
Alba is so far waiting on a new deal at Barcelona, however a contract extension hasn’t been forthcoming.
United have been keeping tabs on the left-back as a potential replacement for Luke Shaw, who looks set to leave Old Trafford.
Chelsea are also mooted suitors as they seek competition on the left side of defence for Marcos Alonso.
And according to Spanish paper Sport, United and Chelsea have both been made aware of his contract situation and they are ready to pounce.
His agent, Vicente Fores, has admitted movement has been very slow on the contract front for Alba at Barca.
