Lancia Delta Integrale To Return As A Singer-Like Bespoke Model

Good news for Lancia fans with deep pockets, as it appears that the iconic Delta Integrale is set to make a comeback as a bespoke three-door model in true Singer-like fashion.

Automobili Amos is the name of the company that plans to build a reinterpretation of the classic rally icon. Founded by racing driver Eugene Amos, the small Italian company will draw inspiration from Singer in order to offer the best Delta Integrale in the world.

According to Amos, the car will be completely revised, featuring more than 1,000 new components. The bodywork will be also new and made out of hand-beaten aluminum while the front fascia will be made out of carbon as a nod to the Lancia Beta.

Similarly, the powertrain and suspension will be overhauled and the finished car will offer a different driving experience thanks to the new suspension geometry. Eugene Amos confessed in an interview with Classic Driver a few months ago that he wants his creation to be able to oversteer.

Design-wise the car features subtle changes that make it more muscular and at the same time keep the essence of an Integrale. Unlike the original, there are no rear passenger doors while the interior is going to be completely redesigned, ditching the arguably uninspiring dashboard of the standard Integrale for something more appropriate. Amos said that the new interior will be inspired by the cockpit of the Delta S4.

The company will use standard Delta Integrale 16v models as donor cars, instead of the rarer Evoluziones as Eugene admits those are too valuable to be subjected to this conversion.

Automobili Amos wanted to show the first finished example at this year’s Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este but they couldn’t make it on time. Instead the company released the first renders of the car along with the promise that they will reveal all the details soon.
