Bihar Cabinet approves Fisheries College at Kishanganj

Cabinet today gave its nod to set up a at at a cost of Rs 40.31 crore.

The cabinet meeting chaired by Nitish Kumar okayed creation of academic and administrative posts apart from development of infrastructure of the College at a cost of Rs 40.31 crore in 2018-19 financial year, Cabinet Secretariat Department's told reporters here.

It also approved creation of 88 new posts in departments of and Hospital (PMCH) for starting the kidney transplant facility at the hospital, Singh said.

The cabinet also sanctioned creation of 25 new academic and non academic posts for carrying out Post Graduate course at and Hospital, he said.

It also took a decision that the faculty of Nursing College of (IGIMS) would get salary at par with All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), said adding that the decision would put an additional annual burden of Rs 45.21 lakh on state's exchequer.

It also sanctioned creation of 64 academic posts and 51 non teaching posts each for three newly set up government engineering colleges at Bhojpur, Vaishali and Banka, Singh said adding that a total of 192 and 153 posts of teaching and non teaching has been sanctioned.

A total of 20 proposals of different departments were discussed and given clearance at today's cabinet meeting.
