The Golden State Warriors booked their place in the NBA Finals last night in a Game 7 win over the Houston Rockets to set up yet another match-up with the Cavaliers.
The two teams will competing for the fourth consecutive year in the championship series.
Heading into the postseason there wasn’t much optimism that Cleveland would go far in the playoffs with a roster depleted of experience.
But James proved their saviour on numerous occasions, none more so than Game 7 against the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals on Sunday.

He finished with 35 points, 15 rebounds and nine assists to reach his eighth consecutive NBA Finals.
But Curry, who hit seven three-pointers in last night’s win over the Rockets, doesn’t think it is fair to disregard the rest of the Cavaliers squad.
“I hate when people say that,” said Curry yesterday.
“Like it’s — they’re NBA players, and yeah they’re new and what-not and ‘Bron is amazing, (and) he played an unbelievable playoff run to date and has willed his team to his eighth straight Finals and all that, which is unbelievable to think about the consistency and the longevity and just the level of greatness that he’s shown in the Eastern Conference.

“As a basketball fan, to turn on the TV last night [Sunday] and watch the game and there were points in the game where you didn’t know how it was going to play out and they found a way to get it done, so shout-out to him.
“It was an amazing performance, but don’t disrespect the other guys out there. They fought hard too.”
The NBA Finals gets underway on Friday morning (2am BST) in Oakland with the Warriors holding home-court advantage.
