monsoon in the country is June 1. This year, according to the India Meteorological Department (
IMD), it hit
Kerala on Tuesday, three days earlier than usual. Typically, it takes the monsoon more than a month-and-half to cover the entire country. Here’s a look at the dates by which it is expected to reach different parts of the country.
