GUWAHATI: The state unit of All India Bank Officers' Confederation (
AIBOC) will take part in the 48-hour all-India
bank strike from May 30 to May 31 under the banner of
United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU).
An AIBOC statement said the strike is against the pending wage revision of bank officers and employees. It said the wage revision is due since November 1, 2017 but there have been no efforts on the part of the
Indian Banks Association and the central government to give effect to the revision.
