Andrew (Andy) Alan Brinson Roswell, Georgia Andrew (Andy) Alan Brinson, 44, of Roswell, Georgia, went peacefully home to be with our gracious Lord and Father on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, after a difficult battle with heart disease. Andy was a man of great Christian faith, and he delighted in his beautiful family. He was a devout husband, happily married to his wife, Jodi, for 20 years. He often told those he knew well that he could not believe how God had made him the luckiest man in the world when he met the love of his life. Andy unabashedly adored his children. The love, patience, and kindness that he daily showed his three kids was nothing short of inspirational, and it served as a testament to all for how our God in heaven extends His love to each and every one of us. Andy knew his way around a joke better than anyone, and he devoted a good amount of his time on this earth making people laugh. There are many, many things that will be missed about Andy, but his jovial disposition, big hugs, and his ability to effortlessly light up even the darkest of situations are most definitely at the top of this very long list. Andy worked for BCD Travel as Sr. Director of Customer Experience. Andy leaves behind his beloved wife, Jodi Brinson, and their children, Collin Brinson (11), Blake Brinson (9), and Maya Brinson (6). He is preceded in death by his father, Jay Brinson. He is survived by his mother, Kathy Brinson; his brother, Matt Brinson; sister-in-law, Dawn Brinson, and their two children, Lukas Brinson and Claire Brinson; his maternal grandmother, Lorraine Rigsby; his in-laws, Glen Detwiler and Dottie Detwiler; and his brother-in-law, Jim Detwiler; his sister-in-law, Gwendolyn Detwiler, and their children, Jacob Detwiler and Katelyn Detwiler. He also leaves behind many other extended family members. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at Northside Church, 1125 Houze Road, Roswell, GA 30076. Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. followed by the memorial service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or to the American Heart Association. The family requests that you consider becoming an organ donor. Go Steelers!
