MUMBAI: A 91-year-old woman died on Monday evening after a tree branch fell on her injuring her grievously.
The incident took place near Banganga in
Walkeshwar area. The woman was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries.
The incident took place around 5pm when she was sitting outside a grocery shop.
"The old lady used to come for a walk in the area and would sit on a chair outside the grocery shop everyday. On Monday I was inside my shop when I heard branch crashed on her. On coming out I found her grievously hurt, " said one of the shopkeepers.
