Gareth Bale to Man Utd: Ex-Real Madrid president reveals IMPOSSIBLE demands
GARETH BALE wants to be guaranteed regular first-team football if he leaves Real Madrid - but no team in the world could give him that.
That is the opinion of former Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon.
Bale fuelled speculation over his future following Real’s Champions League final win over Liverpool on Saturday.
The Welshman suggested he was not happy with his game time at the Bernabeu this season.
Express Sport understands Manchester United are leading the way for his signature ahead of Premier League rivals Chelsea.

Who is going to guarantee him to play? That is impossible
But Calderon says none of the big clubs would be able to promise Bale a starting spot, especially with his recent injury record at Real Madrid.
“It’s understandable he’s not happy - he hasn’t been playing regularly in the last matches,” Calderon said of Gareth Bale on talkSPORT this morning.
“And now the ball is in his court. I don’t know what he’s thinking, but I’m sure he’ll be talking to the coach and the President.
“But no one can assure a player that he is going to play all the matches. That is a problem for a player like him.

“He’s an amazing player and he has proven that many times. He was the best player in England in the Premier League (when he was at Tottenham).
“The goal he scored (in the final) is difficult to do for a player not as talented or gifted as he is.
“But, who is going to guarantee him to play? That is impossible.
“Of course, if the injuries come back again, you have to be fit to play in a big club, and players if they are more fit than you are will be playing.”
