DAYTONA BEACH — Daytona International Speedway on Saturday will host the first of four planned hiring events to fill temporary positions for this year's Coke Zero Sugar 400 race weekend in July.

Americrown, the operator of catering services and food and beverage concessions at the Speedway, will hold a hiring event on June 15. 

The NASCAR Monster Energy Series race is scheduled for July 7.

A guest services fan crew hiring event for the race weekend will take place inside the Speedway this Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Additional hiring events at the same location are also planned for June 4 and 7, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and June 9, from, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., according to a news release.

Applicants should enter Speedway property at the intersection of International Speedway Boulevard and Fentress Boulevard and park in front of the Axalta Injector (i.e., fan entrance). Applicants can also apply online.

The Speedway is looking to fill the following positions: stadium fan crew (ushers), admissions fan crew (ticket takers), guest services booth fan crew and tram drivers, ambassadors and attendants.

Americrown, a subsidiary of the Speedway’s parent company International Speedway Corp., will hold its hiring event a week from this Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 525 Fentress Blvd., Daytona Beach.

Temporary positions Americrown is seeking to fill include supervisors, cooks, bartenders, servers, runners and dishwashers.

The Speedway also has volunteer positions available to raise funds to benefit local nonprofit groups via its "Daytona G.I.V.E.S." program.
