Ujjain: Mayor Meena Jonwal and municipal commissioner Pratibha Pal jointly inspected buildings under construction under Pradhan Mantri Avas Yojana on Monday. The mayor and the commissioner visited Manchhaman and Kanipura located sites.
The commissioner gave necessary instructions to officials concerned. She insisted on proper drainage system and said all the amenities must be provided before the process of allotment of houses. Pal insisted on a better look for the buildings and called for adequate marketing.
She said that brochures of the projected residences should get distributed with the booking of residences. The commissioner suggested that a temporary office should be started at the worksite to provide ease to purchasers. Jonwal and Pal also visited Chakor Park and took the stock of development of the park. Public work construction committee in charge, Satyanarayan Chouhan, superintending engineer Hanskumar Jain, zonal office PC Yadav PRO Raees Nizami and Sanjay Bhawsar were also present during the inspection.
