The Department of Public Safety at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday issued an Amber Alert for an infant boy officials say was abducted by a 28-year-old woman.

The child — identified as 4-month-old Rashaun Graves Jr. — was taken in Waterloo. His accused abductor, Sarah Nagy Brown, possibly is headed to Texas in a Gray 2017 Nissan Sentra, with an Oregon license plate 067JYL, according to the alert.

The infant is described as a black male, weighing 12 pounds and stretching 19 to 24 inches. He has black hair, brown eyes, a large dimple on his chin, and was last seen wearing a diaper.

Brown is described as a white woman, weighing 150 pounds, five-feet one-inch tall with reddish blond hair, blue eyes, and last seen wearing a blue sports bra with blank pants.

Anyone with information on the case can call Aaron McClelland with the Waterloo Police Department at 319-291-4340.
