Two Maoists arrested in Jharkhand

Two armed Maoist guerrillas were arrested in Jharkhand's district on Tuesday, police said.

According to police, the members of the banned People's Liberation Front of (PLFI) were arrested during a search operation, undertaken on information that the Maoists were going to hand over a looted bike and cash to the PLFI

Police launched at Jeraikela of and caught the duo, who were on a motorbike, despite their attempt to escape. One of the arrested insurgents was identified as Ghurghur Singh, resident of Odisha's district.

Police seized one home-ade pistol, two mobile phones, live cartridges and the looted bike.
