Call records analysed

During the investigation, police has analysed the call records of all MLAs and other staff present at the CM’s house when the assault was reported. “We have also taken the visitor book of CM’s residence to find to who visited when. We are matching it with the call records and mobile location of persons,” he added.

However, during the questioning all MLAs, CM and Deputy CM have denied any assault on the Chief Secretary, the police officer said.

During investigation, police is gathering the records of previous meeting called at CM’s residence. “We are finding out timings of all previous meeting and details of people who attended these late night meetings or it was the only meeting called at late night with some other ‘intention’,” said a police official. “We are also finding out did CS was called to such late night meeting previously also and who called CS to attend the meeting,” he added.

Two MLAs, Amanatullah Khan and Prakash Jarwal, were arrested in connection with the case and later released on bail.

Mr Kejriwal’s advisor, VK Jain, who was also present in the meeting, had already recorded his statement under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) before a magistrate.
