Britain’s Got Talent 2018: Declan Donnelly 'fights off' BGT STAGE INVADER
BRITIAN’S GOT TALENT’S first live semi-final show of the series was hit by several challenges tonight after being pulled off air due to the weather, but towards the end of the show, Declan Donnelly faced a stage invader.
As Dec went to introduce the last Britain’s Got Talent act of the evening, viewers could see security rushing to signal and hold back audience members.
Dec looked bemused and addressed the situation live on air.
The presenter said: "Welcome back to Britain's..."
He then snapped: “Get out of it you! Another stage invader!”
Dec then turned to the camera and smiled: “We’re here in the dress circle ahead of the D-Day Darlings.”
While Dec joked about the incident, it seemed to be an innocent moment were a member of the audience had tried to return to their seat as the show came back on air.
Fans of the show instantly took to social media.
One viewer tweeted: “’Another’ stage invader? #britainsgottalent.”
“Dec just said it’s another stage invader!!” posted another.
A third added: “#BGT someone just tried to invade the stage oops.”

“Oh my god these are so cringey can they bring the stage invader back,” wrote another.
It comes as Dec referenced his co-host Ant McPartlin at the start of the show.
He said: “Hello and welcome to the first semi-final of Britain’s Got Talent.
“And welcome to the Hammersmith Apollo, our brand new home.
“And we may have a new home, but rest assured, nothing else has changed.

“The talent is as good as ever, the judges are exactly the same, and the presenters… well, probably best not to dwell on that. Let’s just get on with the show.”
Later in the show, Simon Cowell gushed to Dec: “You’re amazing! No, you are. You’re amazing.”
David Walliams added: “As you know, a lot more pressure can be a good thing.”
Dec smirked: “Okay, moving on from that!”
Britain's Got Talent continues tomorrow on ITV at 7.30pm.
