Ravneet Singh Bittu on Monday said that the state government led by Chief Minister Capt
Amarinder Singh will give a debt relief of around Rs 20.99 crore to 3,430 farmers of Ludhiana on May 30. Revealing about the debt-relief programs, Bittu said that programmes will be held in all sub-divisions of the district.
He also said that he would personally attend three programs including in Gill Constituency's Taj Resort where 372 farmers will get a waiver of Rs 1.89 crore. Then, he will visit Marry Villa Palace near
Mullanpur in
Dakha constituency where the function will start at 1 pm; MP said and added that 530 farmers will get a waiver of Rs 2.45 crore here. MP also informed that he would also monitor third such program in Jagraon constituency at where the program is being held at
Victoria Palace.
He said that the state government will waive debt worth Rs 2.19 crore of 426 farmers here and the event will start at 3 pm. Reiterating the commitment of Punjab government to cover each debt-ridden farmer under this program, MP said that all eligible farmers will be facilitated as per the government's guidelines and no one will be left out.
