Trading of index futures on the stock exchange indicates that the Nifty could rise 40 points at the opening bell.

The market jumped on Friday, 25 May 2018 on broad-based buying support. The barometer index, the BSE Sensex, rose 261.76 points or 0.76% to settle at 34,924.87. The index rose 91.30 points or 0.87% to settle at 10,605.15.

On a consolidated basis, net profit after minority interest of rose 10.35% to Rs 1528.99 crore on 1.67% decline in net sales to Rs 6711.01 crore in Q4 March 2018 over Q4 March 2017. The result was announced after market hours on Friday, 25 May 2018.
