Inglis installed as Queensland captain as Walters names Origin I side

Queensland coach Kevin Walters has named his side for State of Origin game one to be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on June 6.

This morning's announcement also installed Greg Inglis as the Maroons' new captain, after Cameron Smith's surprise representative retirement earlier this month.

Veterans Matt Scott and Darius Boyd were both overlooked as expected, while Ben Hunt will start for the first time in the No.7 with Andrew McCullough filling the big shoes of Smith at hooker.
