Lions Club organises cleanliness drive

Supporting the cause of Clean Bokaro Thermal and Green Bokaro Thermal, the Lions Club of Bokaro Thermal took an initiative to promote the message of keeping the surroundings clean and green. The Lions Club of Bokaro Thermal organised a cleanliness drive at different places of Bokaro Thermal here on Sunday, including Hanuman temple, Gurudawara area and Central market of DVC where the members of the club namely UK Nair, B Laxaminih, Jogendra Giri, PK Singh, Bhuneshwar Saw, Dharam Singh, S.B. Singh, Manoj Kumar, Prakash Thakkar, accompanied by DVC officials participated in an hour long drive.

They all cleaned the temple area, Gurudawara and Central market. They also moved into the lanes of the locality trying to create awareness by emphasizing healthy and green surroundings. The effort made towards a better environment was a great success as the members of the club was appreciated by the people of the locality and the message of the cleanness drive went deep into their consciousness.
