Ethiopian, Kenyan runners win Changchun International Marathon

Runners from and swept the titles in the men's and women's events at the International here on Sunday, while Chinese runners finished strong in both categories.

In the men's full race, Tulu Feleke Darsema from claimed the title in 2 hours 28 minutes and 1 second. Kenyan finished second in 2:28:24. The third place went to Chinese Wan Ma, who finished the race in 2:29:14, reports

In the women's category, Kenyan runners and snatched the top two seats in 2:44:53 and 2:46:27, respectively. Chinese finished third in 2:47:25.

Sunday's race saw 30,000 runners from across the world brave rains on the streets of Changchun, capital of northeast China's province.

The first International was held in May 2017.
