Paul J. Bellon, 71, of New Brighton, passed away May 24, 2018, suddenly in his home. Born May 1, 1947, in Indiana, Pa., a son of the late Swan and Annie (Andritz) Bellon, he was a respiratory therapist at the sleep lab at West Penn Hospital. He was a member of the Whitehall Airplane Modelers Club; his passion was building model airplanes and he loved Corvettes. Paul was a die-hard New Brighton Football fanatic and loved spending time with his family. He had a strong faith based and eagerly anticipated the return of Jesus Christ. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Linda (Dangerfield) Bellon; three daughters, Jeanette Bellon, Boca Raton, Fla.; Marcia Bellon, Mission, Kans. and Samantha and her husband, Albert Rivalsky, Petersburg, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James "JB" and his wife, Meredith Bellon. Friends will be received Tuesday from 4 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, with pastor Matthew Frey officiating. Private burial will take place in Grove Cemetery, New Brighton.
