The Diversifed Engineering 60 Phillies earned a split as they won the completion of a suspended game and falling in another in Ohio Men's Senior Baseball League action on Saturday.

The 60 Phillies beat the Canton Coyotes 13-8 as winning pitcher Steve Masten got offensive help from Bob Gauvreau (triple, single) and Kim Brothers (two singles and three walks).

The Coyotes came back and won the regularly scheduled contest 16-5.

Masten went the distance, but took the loss. Dan Wisard and Rick Hickman had three singles each and Kwabena Sankofa posted a double, while Gauvreau, Dave Stolter and Daev Kinney each added two singles.

The Phillies are 1-6. The Coyotes are 2-3.
