A music teacher accused of "rubbing his groin" on his six-year-year old student "every week for several months" will remain behind bars after being charged with 20 counts of indecent assault.
Police allege the 21-year-old man committed the assaults during private violin lessons at an after school care centre in Sydney's north-west.
Detectives say the planned assaults were reported earlier this month after the victim's parents confronted the 21-year-old at a shopping centre
The man was arrested yesterday and charged with 20 counts of indecent assault to a person under 16-years-old.
His employment has been suspended.
The 21-year-old appeared before Parramatta Bail Court this morning where he was denied bail.
He is expected to reappear before Burwood Local Court next month.
The investigation is continuing.
