Motorcycle crash kills one in Ocean City

An Ocean City crash Saturday has left one person dead, police said.

Around 12:30 p.m. Saturday, officers were dispatched to the area of 77th Street and Coastal Highway, said Lindsay Richard, Ocean City police spokeswoman, for a crash involving an SUV and a motorcycle on northbound Coastal Highway.

First responders confirmed the driver of the motorcycle was dead upon their arrival, she said.

As of 4 p.m., all lanes have been opened, according to police.

The name of the motorcycle driver is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
