While bowling first, KKR were not getting much success in the first innings in the bowling as they were not able to take even 1 wicket till the 7th over. Openers Shikhar Dhawan and Wriddhiman Saha were playing very safely and scoring runs for their team. However, the situation changed when Kuldeep Yadav came to bowl the 8th over. He dismissed Shikhar Dhawan in the first bowl through LBW and also took the wicket of Kane Williamson on the fourth ball. Kane got out after he was caught behind the stumps by wicket keeper Dinesh Karthik at the score of 3 runs.

Chris Lynn’s and Sunil Narine’s massive start
While the target of 175 was quite tough to chase against SRH for KKR, the openers Chris Lynn and Sunil Narine did a great job at start. They were hitting big shots and scoring runs at the run rate of more than 10 till 3.2 overs. However, they could not continue it for longer as Sunil Narine got out in the fourth over of Carlos Brathwaite. Narine tried to hit a big shot but got out as he was caught by Siddarth Kaul. However, the way KKR were playing in the first three overs, it seemed like they will definitely book a seat in the final.
