The annual ritual of digging up the city's tulip bulbs came off Saturday in Albany's Washington Park. Participation in the event provided volunteers with the opportunity to purchase 30 bulbs for $5 in exchange for assistance in preparing the park's beds for the summer season. Proceeds from the Tulip Dig & Sale benefit the Washington Park Conservancy's efforts to restore and improve the park.
