Bhopal : Students of the DPS, Bhopal once again topped in the CBSE Class XII result declared on Saturday. Last year too, students of DPS remained in the merit list.
Two DPS students —Shabdita Tiwari and Ayudh Saxena— topped in humanities and PCM category with 98.6 per cent and 98 per cent marks, respectively. Trisha Agarwal of Sagar Public School topped in commerce section with 97.2 per cent while Ishita Jain remained at over all third spot with 97.4 per cent marks.
The CBSE declared the Class XII results on Saturday and 83.01 per cent students tasted success.
The results were good for students in the capital with more than 60 students of three schools achieving more than 90 per cent marks. A total of 42 students of Sagar Public School from both the campuses, 10 students of Bal Bhawan School and 10 students of Anand Vihar School secured more than 90 per cent marks.

Girls outshone boys in the CBSE Class 12 results with Meghna Srivastava of Noida topping the examination. The overall pass percentage was 83.01%. Girls did better than boys with pass percentage of 88.31% against boys’ 78.99%. Meghna Srivastava topped the CBSE Class 12 examination getting 99.8%. She secured 499 marks out of 500.
