Liverpool take on reigning European champions Real Madrid in Kiev hoping to win their first Champions League trophy since 2005.

While the Reds have been receiving plenty of support from fans and former players on their quest for European glory, it seems rapper Drake may also have lent a helping hand.

Goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has revealed captain Jordan Henderson is in charge of the music played in the changing room pre-match.

And Drake’s song ‘God’s Plan’ is the last song the players listen to before taking to the field.

"Hendo is in charge of the music," Mignolet told the Liverpool ECHO.

"We have a certain playlist for just before a game. It's always the same sequence.

"The last song that gets played before we step out on to the pitch is 'God's Plan. Then it's down to business."

While Drake may help get them pumped up before taking to the field, it’s the fans who will help inspire the Reds to glory this evening, says Henderson.

“Fans are a massive part of this club, massive part of Liverpool and they’ve played a massive part in us getting this far in this competition,” the England international said.

“I’m sure Madrid have a lot of fans as well, I’m not sure how many will be here tomorrow.

“But hopefully our fans can create an atmosphere like they have similar to Anfield because it’s made a big difference to us throughout the competition.
