Mahindra officially announces pricing for the TUV300Plus P4 variant; comes with a 2.2-litre 120hp diesel mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.

After being on sale unofficially in many states for more than six months, the TUV300 Plus has been finally launched by Mahindra, priced at Rs 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The TUV300 Plus is essentially a lengthened version of the TUV300 sub-four-meter compact SUV. It shares most of the body panels with the standard model but comes with unique rear styling.

The TUV300 Plus, as reported by us earlier, is powered by a 120hp 2.2-litre diesel engine which Mahindra calls as mHawk120. It generates 280Nm of torque. Gearbox duties are done by a six-speed manual instead of the five-speed unit in the standard TUV300. The vehicle comes with 215/70R16 tyres with steel wheels. It gets a 60-litre fuel tank and weighs 2,410kg. The TUV300 Plus also comes with Mahindra’s fuel-saving Micro Hybrid tech.

The TUV300 Plus is 4,400mm long which makes it 401mm more than the standard model. It is 1,835mm wide and 1,812mm high and comes with a 2,680mm wheelbase which is the same as the sub-four-meter version.

The TUV300 Plus P4 comes sparsely equipped with Vinyl seat upholstery, all-black interiors, a nine-seater configuration with fold-up side-facing third row seats, power steering with tilt, four power windows, central locking, an AC with a heater, internally adjustable wing mirrors and two 12V charging sockets. The TUV300 Plus is available with four exterior paint shade options.

As far as safety goes, the TUV300 Plus comes with an Engine immobilizer, child locks and side intrusion beams.

The TUV300 Plus has been launched only in one variant as of now, however there are talks of two more variants in the pipeline.

The vehicle is priced at Rs 9.46 lakh in Tamil Nadu, Rs 9.72 lakh in Jharkhand and Rs 9.55 lakh in Gandhinagar Gujarat. (all prices, ex-showroom).
