Power & water supply to Sterlite plant in Thuthukkudi suspended: Dist Admin |
 In Tamilnadu, Thuthukkudi district administration has clarified that power and water supply to the Sterlite Copper smelting plant have been suspended as a prelude to its closure.
The district collector has said that normalcy is being restored in the district and buses have started plying in phases. The administration confirmed the death toll in the incidents as 13 and the number of injured as 102.
