Man Utd transfer news: Marko Arnautovic deal has one stumbling block - Moreno
MARKO ARNAUTOVIC would only be a squad player if he joined Manchester United - and that is not something he would be willing to be.
That is the opinion of ESPN FC pundit and former Major League Soccer star Alejandro Moreno.
West Ham forward Arnautovic has been linked with a move to Manchester United in recent days.
That is because the Austrian, after a difficult start to life at the Hammers, shone under David Moyes at the London Stadium.
Arnautovic scored 11 goals under the now departed Moyes, who has been replaced at the helm by Manuel Pellegrini.

He would be just a squad player at Manchester United. I don’t think this is the sort of guy whose personality really fits being a squad player
Moreno believes Pellegrini will find a regular spot for Arnautovic, something he does not think he would get at United.
“It’s not so much about what the new manager is going to do with Arnautovic, I think he has a place in that team,” Moreno said.
“I just don’t think he’s an upgrade to whatever Manchester United has right now and plays.
“There are other players and other names that maybe Manchester United are interested in.
