Dinosaurs: Back with a Roar — February 17-June 3. Naples Botanical Garden, 4820 Bayshore Drive, Naples. Ten life-size animatronic dinosaurs are on display among the foliage of the gardens. Plus, there’s a fossil dig and a dinosaur photo station. The gardens are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Speed eating and seed spitting competition, community showcase exhibition area, live entertainment, skill games, stilt walker, balloon animals, locally grown watermelon. Hours are 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Seed spitting contest entry fee is $1 for three seeds. Free Eye Screening — 10 a.m.-noon. East United Way House, 4040 Palm Beach Blvd., Suite C, Fort Myers. The Florida Lions Eye Clinic, Lions Club, Children's Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida and United Way of Lee, Hendry, Glades and Okeechobee are partnering to offer a free eye screening for glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration and tests for diabetes and blood pressure. Kids from toddlers to age 12 participate in fun activities and receive a free slice of pizza from Luna Pizza, a free kids’ cone from Dairy Queen/Orange Julius, and a special offer to Mr. Pretzels, while supplies last.
Kids Cruise Free with Pure Florida — 10-11:30 a.m. Pure Naples at Tin City, 1200 Fifth Ave. S., Naples, FL 34102. Kids cruise free when accompanied by an adult. Adult tickets are $39 per person. Additional child tickets are $19.50. The 1.5-hour children’s cruise provides an entertaining environment for children to learn about the Southwest Florida environment. ReptiDay Fort Myers Reptile & Exotic Animal Expo — 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Crowne Plaza Fort Myers at Bell Tower Shops, 13051 Bell Tower Drive, Fort Myers, FL 33907. A one-day reptile event featuring vendors that offer reptile pets, supplies, feeders, cages and merchandise as well as live animal seminars and frequent free raffles for prizes. Family Day at Millennial — Noon-5 p.m. Millennial Brewing Company, 1811 Royal Palm Ave., Fort Myers. Free admission. Every Sunday, Millennial Brewing Company turns the brewery and the parking lot into a kids' play paradise. Kids' movies by request on the big screens, kids' corn hole, kids' table pong, and a huge bounce house and/or water slide. House crafts, cider, kombucha and beermosas for the adults.
