Empire Corridor trains will originate and terminate at Grand Central Terminal beginning Saturday, May 26, as work on the tracks and bridge to Penn Station get under way.

The detour affects Empire Service, Ethan Allen Express, the Adirondack, and Maple Leaf. In addition, the Lake Shore Limited will travel only between Chicago and Boston, with Hudson Valley and New York City-bound passengers switching to Empire corridor trains at Albany-Rensselaer.

The Maple Leaf and Adirondack will be the last two trains to depart from Penn on May 26. The detour is expected to continue through Sept. 3.
