Cleveland Pops Orchestra to perform in Mentor

The Cleveland Pops Orchestra will be performing at the Mentor Civic Amphitheater on July 4 as a part of the City of Mentor’s Independence Day celebration.

They will present an array of classics as well as contemporary works with pieces ranging from Strauss to Billy Joel under the direction of Conductor Jason Seber, according to a news release. The concert will begin at 8 p.m., followed by a 25-minute fireworks display.

Admission and parking are free. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs.

Food trucks as well as beverages for sale will be available. Outside food and refreshments are permitted; however, no outside alcohol or glass containers will be allowed nor will pets.

The amphitheater is located at 8600 Munson Road.
