Man suffers serious 'crush-type' injuries in workplace incident

A man in his 50s has been taken to hospital in a serious condition after suffering leg and pelvic injuries following a workplace incident involving a crane in the Moreton Bay region.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the man suffered "crush-type" injuries during the incident at Lakefield Drive in North Lakes.

Paramedics were called to the incident about 1.38pm on Friday.

A critical-care paramedic team attended the location as one of the high-acuity QAS teams.
