Om Prakash charges party over mere vote politics

Despite a warning from the BJP state president Dr Mahendra Nath pandey asking ministers not to speak against government and party, a cabinet minister and president of Suheldeo Bharatiya Samaj Party(SBSP) Om Prakash Rajbhar has charged the party leadership of using the backward leaders for mere vote politics.

“BJP used Keshav Maurya, the then UP BJP president during the 2017 assembly polls but was was refused Chief minister’s post,” Rajbhar said.

Talking to media here on Thursday, Rajbhar said that he was not afraid of any consequences and ready to sacrifice his ministerial post for the cause of the backwards.

“BJP had always ditched the backwards. I had raised the issue before BJP president Amit Shah asking him that till the government divides 27 per cent reservation for the backwards, other castes will continue to suffer because Yadavs are the biggest beneficiary,” he said.

Rajbhar also made a scathing  attack on BJP for ignoring leaders of particular caste. “Like madari uwho uses a monkey to attracvkt crowd similarly BJP leaders have used caste leaders during elections to influence voting and then ignored them. These leaders do not open  their mouth because they have an axe to grind,” he said.

Terming the political leaders as a choreographer, on whose direction the entire country dances, he said that in UP, the people had already danced to the tune of Mayawati and Samajwadi Party. In 2017 polls people danced on the tune of Keshav Maurya but BJP ignored him.

Hitting out at CM Yogi  Adityanath, Rajbhar said “Yogiji used to demand separate Poorvancal state for better development but now it has gone quite which shows how serious he is towards the cause of the backward region.” 

“But I have not changed and still fighting for the people and the cause of the Poorvanchal,” he added.
