Aaron Chalmers wins Bellator debut via stunning first round submission

Aaron Chalmers made his Bellator debut at Bellator 200 earlier tonight

The reality star turned mixed martial artist took part in his fourth professional fighter earlier this evening in the curtain raiser for

Standing in front of the former Geordie Shore star and his fourth win on the bounce was fellow Brit Ash Griffiths, who on paper was a sterner test than the Newcastle native had taken before. 

Chalmers emphatically passed that test by seeing off Griffiths in the first round with a standing guillotine.

The opening moments of the first round were uneventful as the pair felt each other out.

That soon changed when Griffiths shot in and landed a double-leg takedown, though Chalmers managed to make his way back to his feet.

Upon returning to his feet, Chalmers dropped Griffiths with a big left hand. 

Griffiths managed to return to his feet, but did so in a daze and unable to defend himself.

Chalmer’s didn’t let the golden opportunity slip through his hands, slapping on a standing guillotine which rendered his opponent unconscious.

After registering the biggest win of his mixed martial arts career, Chalmers sent a message to those doubting his commitment to mixed martial arts.

"If you don't like it, then fuck you," Chalmers told John McCarthy in his post-fight interview.
