Poddar writes to CM on water crisis

Looking at the gruesome water crisis in Jharkhand, Rajya Sabha MP Mahesh Poddar has requested the entire industrialist in the State to distribute water through water tankers among the people. Writing a letter to Chief Minister Raghubar Das stated that if local industrialists were allowed to distribute water among the people the present crisis could be resolved to some extent. Poddar referred to the RMC meeting held on May 5, where the issue was water crisis was raised by every ward councilors.

Food Festival at BNR Chanakya

A Food Festival will be held in Samrat, Chanakya BNR from 25th May to 5th June. In this food festival Awadhi Cuisine will be served which is a cuisine native to the city of Lucknow. Elaborate dishes of Lucknow such as kebabs, kormas, biryanis, nahari-kulchas and many more authentic and popular dishes will be served in this food festival from 7pm to 11pm. Chef Pinaki Mishra along with Chef Javed Qureshi, expert of Awadhi Cuisine are working with their team to make this event a great success.

Shiv Nadar University admissions

Shiv Nadar University has declared admissions open for the academic year 2018-19. Known for its multidisciplinary curriculum, the Shiv Nadar University expands its offerings with the introduction of a new undergraduate program in international relations. Expert faculty members, who bring to bear considerable research experience in International Relations and allied areas such as development studies, ecological economics and political science, will teach the course. The 4-year program will require students to study the core subjects for the first two years and focus on studying their International Relations electives during the third year. The last date of receiving application forms for undergraduate programs is May 28 and the last date to appear for SNUSAT and APT test is June 4.

 First state-of-the-art Experience Centre

Midmark (India), a leader in the area of patient positioning equipment has launched the company’s first state-of the-art Experience Centre in Ranchi in partnership with its authorized distributor M/s Life Care Devices. The center will showcase a Barrier Free OPD room, advance hospital beds and allied medical furniture.
