Raj govt to offer guarantee for loans to fund farm debt waiver

The government has agreed to offer guarantee to take a loan of Rs 5,000 crore from banks for rolling out the waiver scheme for farm of up to Rs 50,000 to benefit more than 29 lakh small and marginal farmers, a said today.
