Housing societies can take part in Sakal Superstar Cup

Pune: The housing societies from the city will get an opportunity to participate in a star-studded football match to be held in the city with Bollywood stars Abhishek Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Dino Morea, Shabbir Ahluwalia and Karan Wahi playing against football players from Pune.

The Sakal Superstar Cup will take place on June 2 at Balewadi stadium. The objective of the match is to raise funds for charity and social welfare.

Besides getting the opportunity to participate in the match, the societies will also get a chance to build tents at the venue. The details about this will be declared after May 25.

Sakal has organised this match in collaboration with GS Sports. VTP Realty has sponsored to build the team of Pune’s football players, ‘VTP Eleven’.

The much-anticipated match between the Bollywood Stars and football players of the city is powered by Finolex Pipes and co-powered by Quest Tours. Lokmanya Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited is the Banking Partner of the event.

Free passes
The free passes of Sakal Superstar Cup will be available after May 25. The details about the same will be published every day in Sakal.
