Benoy Roychowdhury, executive Director - HT Media, has decided to move on after spending 13 years at HT to pursue other interests. He served as a whole - time director, printer and publisher for Hindustan Media Ventures (HMVL), and held several key roles at HT Media.

Roychowdhury transformed the revenue function of the company and attracted talented managers, both from within and outside the media industry. As an integral member of the HT Media's leadership team, he helped evolve and implement the group's strategy over the years.
He also led the company's thrust into the Hindi Markets, formulating a strategic vision as well as ensuring excellence in its execution.
Roychowdhury has represented HT on major industry forums and has successfully worked towards improving industry practices, measurement systems and standards.
Before, joining HT Media, Roychowdhury worked as the vice-president at Whirlpool.
An alumni of XLRI Jamshedpur, from where he pursued PGDBM - Marketing Finance, Roychowdhury has worked Procter & Gamble and Godrej.
