Ludhiana: The civic officials sealed a building in Sarabha Nagar on the complaint of Congress member of Parliament Ravneet Bittu on Wednesday.
The owner had got residential building plan approved for this structure but on the spot commercial construction was going on. The officials had to face resentment from the owner but when they threatened to dismantle the structure then the owner stepped back.
The MP asked the officials to seal the building after getting complaints from the area residents. The officials had got the construction work stopped earlier also but since they did not pay attention the construction work had started again.
